MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

These last couple of days I've been the first to wake up in our household, I have what I would like to call a horrible cold, but really it isn't that bad. Today is the worst of it (so far) and all I feel like doing is lie on the couch and chill, so that is what I am doing right this moment! It's lovely.

In Norway we originally get everything done on Christmas Eve, the dinner, the presents, the lot.
In our household we start the morning of 24th with a breakfast all together, it doesn't need to be fancy or anything big, the point is that we are all there together. As I was feeling quite unwell, my fiancé Silviu took care of breakfast and made me and our daughter Lilly egg and bacon which was delicious.
At 11 a.m. my aunt, uncle and my cousins came over for porridge.

The porridge contains one almond, and the almond is basically what you want here. Whoever gets the almond in their porridge wins a prize, usually a small chocolate or marzipan, and everybody eats like crazy to get it haha. Usually the person who gets it will hide it from the rest and watch them eat until their bellies are so full they almost pop like an evil mastermind, and then when after everybody is wondering where it has gotten to ("Has it dissolved in the porridge???") whoever gets it will finally confess and claim their prize. This year that person was me :-) :-)

The next event after the porridge is the Christmas Dinner, which is the most delicious thing your mouth will ever feast on, take my word for it. No almonds here, just marvellous food, drinks and the company of your dearest nearest.

After everyone has finished we move on to the presents, and I don't know if whoever stumbles upon this post remembers my dilemma about this gorgeous-I-have-never-seen-anything-so-nice jacket? .......... Anyway, what happened there was that I returned to the shop not long after my post about it, stared at it for a while weighing the pros and cons before I decided I could not leave it behind. The kind owner wrapped it for me, as the only way I could ever get it was if it were a Christmas present from Silviu, so I paid for it, took it home and unwrapped it yesterday. Goodness, what a great eye he has for things ;)  ;)

Not only that, I've been craving for this wool underwear set from a Norwegian designer Kari Traa, it's incredibly sweet and cool and cute <3 and yesterday(!!!) I unwrapped another gift from my love and there were the pants of the set! They were the wrong colour, as I originally wanted the purple one but boy,oh boy haha, I no longer know what I was thinking, wanting the purple ones, because these red ones are so much nicer!! Xx

There you are with some insight of my Christmas and the gifts I got. After finishing opening presents our guests left and we eventually went to sleep.... Where I dreamt Silviu and I were vampires and he didn't love me anymore but we still hung out and this girl kept chasing me trying to kill me because I had killed someone she loved but I wasn't even scared! Hardcore-scary-but-cool-vampire. There was something about a shop and a bus too.

Anyway.
Lots of warm wishes to you all, I hope you have a great Christmas and enjoy yourselves and get everything you wrote on your list to Santa xxxx
